INITIAL PAYMENT, FEES and CANCELLATION CHARGES
An initial deposit payment of 20% of your total booking fee is required to secure your booking. This should be paid as soon as possible via bank transfer to the details below, your event date cannot be guaranteed and remains available until the deposit payment is received:

The deposit you pay to secure your event is non-refundable. The deposit paid will be taken off the final balance owing.
The deposit reflects the work put into events prior to attending, and the bookings missed by securing your date for you.
All cancellations must be made by contacting Hannah Marshall, referred to as 'the artist' for the remainder of this document, preferably in writing (via e-mail). Once the event has been cancelled, the event date will immediately be available for others to book.
Travel expenses are additional to service prices stated on the website/agreed between the artist and the client, if travel is required to a venue outside of the Nottinghamshire, Derby City, Loughborough town or Leicester City regions. Travel expenses are fixed at 0.50p per mile from the business address to the venue address, however, simplified fees are typically provided for a more rounded price and will be agreed in advance of the event.
Package prices listed on the website are a base line figure, each quote provided will be tailored to suit individual requirements, which may mean that the total amount payable will differ from what is published on the website.
If the event has to be postponed due to COVID-19, bookings will be rearranged to a new date provided there is availability, at no extra cost. If the artist is unavailable on your newly scheduled date, the deposit/cancellation policy, above will apply.
FULL PAYMENT
Full payment is required at least 28 days prior to the event taking place. An invoice will be generated and e-mailed to you. Please refer to the bank details listed above.
VENUE, ACCESS AND LOCATION
It is the client's responsibility to ensure the artist is provided with the venues contact information, address, name, and postcode for attendance at the event. Reasonable access will be required at the venue for un/loading, and suitable parking once equipment has been unloaded. If parking for loading is restricted the client will be liable for any fines that occur as a result and or time used seeking a suitable location, if a fine is received the client will be notified within 7 days of the event date. The artist cannot be held responsible for any errors or delays resulting from incorrect or missing event address details.
EVENTS BEYOND THE ARTIST'S CONTROL
The artist cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent attendance at an event; these may include but are not limited to, severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of vehicles, sickness or equipment failure. In the case that the artist cannot attend or fulfil the clients hire due to events beyond the artists control, the client and the venue will be contacted as soon as possible. In these instances the artists liability will be limited to the refund of all monies paid (minus the deposit).
SET UP OF SERVICES
The artist will arrive to set up approximately 90 minutes before the agreed hire period is due to commence.
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the venue has agreed for the artist to be at the venue at the agreed time. This also includes ensuring that there is access to enter the venue and enough space with a power socket within 10 meters of where the artist is to perform. If there is insufficient space for the artist to set up the client will still be charged for the full hire amount. The client is also to supply the artist with a contact that is due to be at the venue on the day of the event.
It is the client's responsibility to inform the artist of any circumstances that may make setting up take longer, these may include but are not limited to; going upstairs, a long distance from the unloading area to the set-up area, restricted access etc. If the artist is not aware of these issues and the set-up takes longer than normal your hire period may be affected.
HIRE PERIOD
The hire period will be for a set performance period, as agreed with the client in accordance with the packages listed plus any agreed additions. This will exclude the 90 minute (approx.) set up time and 30 minute (approx.) pack down time. Services will commence at the agreed time and finish at the agreed time listed in the invoice unless technical difficulties occur on the artists behalf, the artist will provide the service for the set hire period once rectified.
If the event starts late or runs late due to no fault of the artist, the period of hire will still be for the agreed period and times unless additional time has been pre-agreed as per the additions.
LIABILITY
The artist accepts no liability for; loss of or damage to property belonging to/or travelling with the client or any members of any group accompanying the client. For example; watches, jewellery, cameras or clothing.
The artist accepts no liability for personal injury or death of the client or any of the clients participants.
TERMINATION OF HIRE
The artist will not tolerate any abuse or threatening behaviour. If this occurs, the artist reserves the right to terminate the hire, with no refund payable for hire time that has been cut short. The artist is providing a service to you, and expects to be treated with the respect deserved at all times, and by all members of the clients party.
The artist retains the right to terminate a hire if any equipment or property belonging to the artist is in danger of being damaged or has been damaged due to unruly behaviour from the client or client's party members.
In any instances where the artist feels there is a need to terminate the hire the artist will attempt to speak with the client and / or the hosting venue first, if possible to try to resolve the matter before termination.
The client will be fully responsible for any damages caused by the client or any other attendees at the event to the artists equipment howsoever caused, with the sole exclusion of the artist and venue staff.
In the event of any damages caused by those present at the event to property or equipment in use by the artist, the client will be charged the full replacement cost and is liable to costs involved in termination of future events due to sourcing replacements.
Any damages must be reported directly to the artist immediately.
PUBLIC LIABILITY
Public liability up to £2 Million provided by Allianz - effective from 13 January 2023 to 12 January 2024. Certificate can be presented upon request. Public liability insurance renews annually.
